You know those moments you wish you could bottle up so you could relive all the feelings over and over? That's what I love about photography - in a way we can. Photos are a witness to our one precious life and I think it's such a gift we have them. So whether it's the moment you commit to your love forever, or the one when that precious baby lays on your chest for the first time, or the brand you've poured your heart into, or giggles and squishy cheeks, or heart-racing love...
One of my favorite things to document, and the one I've been complimented for most is the authentic, emotional, in-between moments. Where someone laughs until their sides hurt, or squeezes their grandma's hand, or the big squishy cheek giggles. The real moments are where the power of photography lives and that's what I'm most passionate about.
My photography journey started in 2018 when I graduated from college as a brand new mama of my two-month-old baby girl. I needed a way to finish putting my husband through school and I didn't want to send my baby to daycare, so since I'd always loved taking pictures and my brother called me the "paparazzi", lol, I taught myself how to use a camera and started my business as a photographer. Being invited into some of life's most sacred moments and trusted to document them is such a privilege that I don't take lightly and am honored to have.
My client experience is a pride and joy of my photography. I love helping people have fun getting their photos taken and feel comfortable and confident.
I believe helping you prepare and getting to know you is one of the best ways for me to do that which is why when you book with me you'll receive guides on things like what actually helps posing feel more natural, locations to choose from, and tons of tips for planning your wedding. I'll also send you a questionnaire to get to know you better so I can deliver the best experience.
I always record photos to two memory cards for every wedding and session, and I shoot every wedding with two cameras and lenses so there's always a backup. (If you want to get technical... I use a Canon 5D Mark iii with a Sigma 35mm f/1.4 lens for most sessions and a Canon R6 Mark ii with a Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 lens for most weddings.)
I come with a bride emergency kit (which has been used at every wedding), get to know you and your family and guests, and really aim to deliver a fabulous experience for you.
I am very laid back at weddings and photoshoots (minus when I need to direct, I will) but am type-a when it comes to getting things done which means my turnaround time is fast - 2 weeks for sessions and 4 weeks for weddings max. You'll receive your photos in a gorgeous online gallery where you can mark your favorites, share it with others, and download all the high-resolution digital files - the gallery is online for 6 months. The gallery also has beautiful printing services you can use, or you'll have a print release to print where you please and I'll send you recommendations as well.
To book, reach out with the form below, we can call, email, or text to answer any questions and then if you'd like to book I'll send you an invoice. You pay the deposit (typically 25% but I cater it to your needs and payment plans are available by request) and sign the contract and you'll be set! Then the remainder is typically due about 2 weeks before your wedding, or the day of your session.
My style: I have honed my craft for years to focus on being a photojournalistic storyteller - I focus on authentic emotion and documenting the details. You can expect a few nicely posed shots but I focus on tons of candid and emotional shots and documenting details. My job is to tell the story and capture how it felt, in addition to how it looked.
My edit: My edit has been carefully crafted to be a warm, creamy, soft edit that helps photos feel emotional and true to life, minimizes distractions to keep the attention on you, and maintains skin tone and non-distracting color integrity. I am pretty thorough in my editing as you can see below...
I have wildly fast turnaround times - for sessions you'll get your photos back within 2 weeks max and weddings within 4 weeks max. I really don't like things hanging over my head, lucky for you haha! Even though my turnaround is fast, I'm still very thorough with my editing... see for yourself in the above dropdown.
As I hope this page has already convinced you - I like you to know everything upfront. I don't like there to be unhappy surprises like waiting weeks for photos, or only getting access to some of the pictures and having to pay extra for the rest, or taxes not being included and the price going up by hundreds, or slow disorganized communication - so I try to communicate everything clearly upfront. I'll send you guides to help you prepare for your session and wedding. I communicate quickly and thoroughly when you reach out to me. If you have any questions, let me know in the form below!
I typically do sessions during the week, and love weekday weddings - occasionally weekends will be an option. Locations farther than 25 miles from Bluffdale, UT may incur an additional cost. Some locations have permitting or fees that will incur and additional cost.

ONE HOUR SESSIONS: like families, engagements, portraits, seniors, a personal branding shoot, etc. will be around $475
MINI SESSIONS are available for ~$275 each but must be booked with someone else - you'll need to find one other family, senior, couple, etc. who would like to book a mini session for the same date and place as you. The sessions are 25 minutes, include 20+ photos, and will be 10 minutes apart.
BRAND SESSIONS are calculated on a case-by-case basis - I work with your brand to not only do your photos but really catch sight of your business and vision and document that. We'll hop on a call and talk about you and your brand. For personal branding it will typically follow a one hour session format. For products we'll talk about how many products you'll be sending for flatlays and product shots, if you need models, if you'd like a branding shoot as well, etc. and come up with a custom quote.
EVENTS are calculated on a case-by-case basis and will be around $400-$600/hr of coverage

Extra fees could come from things like: locations that are farther than 25 miles from Bluffdale, UT; locations that have fees; extra coverage; split day coverage (a gap in your wedding day coverage).
Sessions added onto your wedding will be about $525.
For weddings I recommend this coverage:
1 - if you're on a tight budget just do wedding day photos - a first look before the temple/ceremony, the ceremony, keep family photos brief afterward and focus on documenting just you two, and have me document an entrance to your celebration (rather than an exit) and do the activities you want documented at the beginning of your celebration - this would probably be around 4 hours of coverage for around $2,500
2- for elopements - document getting ready, the ceremony, and something afterward like cut a cake or do a private dance or picnic - this would probably be around 3 hours of coverage for around $2,100
3 - for full wedding day coverage - do an engagement session and then on your wedding day document getting ready and activities before the ceremony like going to a brunch with your parents, first look before ceremony/temple and do something like reading letters to each other, the ceremony (have a ceremony as well if you're having a sealing), family and wedding party photos after with a focus on photos of you two, then a celebration full of what brings you two joy - get creative and make it yours! This would probably be around 8-10 hours of coverage plus the engagement session for around $4,100-$4,400
*I actually don't recommend a bridal session - crazy as a photographer I know! But I think the aisle or first look moment is really special on the day of your wedding, and you have to get your flowers and hair and makeup twice and you'll probably need to wash your dress which is a lot of added expense. We can get incredible photos of your on your wedding day and we can always do a bridal session after your wedding day if you decide you want that! From my experience, couples are often more relaxed and comfortable after. However, if you are very laid back and don't mind the extra expense and don't mind your dress getting dirty and are able to be relaxed during the session and want bridal photos, let's do it.
**A second shooter can be added for an additional cost of around $50-200/hr (based on their level of experience)
PLEASE READ: I book a very limited number of photo projects each year. I ask that you only reach out if you have thoroughly explored this page and my portfolio and are very seriously interested in booking.
Thank you!
