Bride Guide #51 is all about the bachelor and bachelorette party’s by Logan Utah Wedding Photographer Lauren Kay Photography.

Bachelorette and Bachelor parties get a bad rap. (And a lot of times they probably should.) But they do
not have to be inappropriate! Keep it something you’d be okay telling your groom (or bride) about later.
If you’re worried about your party being something you’re okay with, have a genuine, honest chat with
the person throwing it for you.
I think doing something with your girlfriends, or sisters, or even your mom, or whoever you’re closest to
before your wedding is a must. This is a really fun time for your closest friends to celebrate with you.
And your groom needs this too. These parties are part of the funeral of your single life so that you can
embrace your marriage wholeheartedly. They don’t have to be the night before but should just be
sometime close to the wedding. If you’re creative, there are so many fun things you can do. Make it fun
and something that is meaningful for you. Plus, it’s always great to get a little help building up your
lingerie stash!
Remember…
Have your registry done before your shower invitations are sent out.
Bachelorette (and some Bachelor) Party Ideas:
● Go out to dinner
● Get pedicures
● Go out for brunch
● Do a paint night
● Go see a movie
● Have a game night
● Go to an amusement park
● Make pancakes, wear pajamas, and do pedicures at home
● Do a class like yoga or pole dancing – I’ve even heard of llama yoga!
