Doesn’t it make you feel the best when you compliment someone and they start beaming? Or when you give that perfect gift? Love. Starting with yourself. Then stretch out to your groom and others. Think about them. Make them a special part of your wedding and it will be so much more cherished by you, as well as by them. Give that little gift to your parents or take the extra time to ask your bridesmaids a special way. Service makes us happy. So involving little acts of service into your wedding will make it so much more beautiful. 

 

 

Even beyond your actual wedding day, it’s important to think about others. It’s easy to get wrapped up in yourself. You have so much on your plate! But truthfully, when you make time to help others, you will have the time you need. It doesn’t make sense but it’s true. 

 

I am absolutely not saying you should plan your wedding based on what other people want. I am saying that, unrelated to your wedding, if you will keep your heart open to the needs of others and make time for serving those around you, you will find incredible joy on your wedding day. It doesn’t make logical sense, but I promise you it’s true. Happy brides are brides that have a heart of service all along the way.

• Send a letter or text.
• Call someone and listen.
• Take someone to lunch or on a walk.
• Leave a sweet comment on social media.
• Compliment someone.
