Where to begin?! I love Garret and Kylie and their cute girl so much. What a privilege to be their family photographer in Utah.

The first time I met them was actually on their honeymoon how funny is that? My husband and I had booked a cruise for our one-year anniversary. One day we were walking around and this cute couple came over and started talking to us. We got chatting with them and when they asked us where we were from we said Utah. As we kept talking we realized we not only were from the same state but also same town and going to the same college and going to be living in the same apartment complex! It’s a big complex so we figured we probably wouldn’t see them again.

Then a few weeks later, my husband was sitting by a gentleman at church who had just moved into our area. My husband asked where they went on their honeymoon, and he found out they were on the same cruise we were on… and we realized then that it was Garett and Kylie! At first when they had walked into our church I thought maybe I had taken a class at college with them haha. We both knew the other looked familiar but couldn’t put our finger on it until that moment! CRAZY. The world really is small.

We became great friends with Garret and Kylie and their little girl as she joined their family. She was the biggest trooper in the December cold for our session. Doesn’t even look like winter but it was! One of my favorite parts of being a Utah family photographer is seeing the love in families like this cute one. ❤
