It took moving to an entirely different state for these two to find each other… even though they were from the same hometown. It’s funny how that works! One of Emily’s roommates had gone to high school with Michael. So Michael was introduced to Emily and they just hit it off.

 

For their first date they went chalk drawing on campus. At Utah State there are tunnels where students will draw amazing murals with chalk, so they tried their hand at one! Once Michael knew Emily was the one, he pulled off one of the most impressive proposals I’ve ever heard of.

 

Emily LOVES basketball. So Michael blindfolded Emily and led her into Utah State’s basketball arena, the Spectrum. She had no idea where she was going and opened her eyes to Michael proposing! I love their story so much.

 

Emily and Michael are SO sweet. You never would know it was a cold February day by these smiles. And the beach… I love being a Layton Utah wedding photographer.

 

Emily and Michael, I am SO happy for you two. I can’t wait to see you in a few weeks when you’re MARRIED! Congrats you guys!!
