As a Logan Utah Photographer, I know you have lots of options to choose from. So many that booking a photographer is scary. It’s unknown. You don’t know what to expect. Unless it’s someone you know, all you have to go off of is their website and social media. I booked my wedding photographer solely because I knew them and was comfortable with them. I wouldn’t want to book a photographer not knowing what my experience would be like. And I don’t want you to either! So, here’s a little background on what you can expect – start to finish – when you book with me!
I respond to inquiries quickly. Don’t worry, you won’t have to wait weeks to hear back from me. Minus Sunday, I usually respond to initial inquiries within 48 hours and I am prompt in all of our continuing communication. And you can expect your pictures back fast. You’ll get your family or couple session pictures back in just one week!
Being reliable is very important to me. So if I say you get 40 pictures back, you will get at least 40 pictures back. If the session starts at 6:00pm, I’ll be there at 6:00pm or before. Sticking to my word is very important to me.
If you want that pose done, we’ll do it! If you want to be in and out in 10 minutes, I’ve done it before. If you want to take the full time, let’s do it! I truly care about you! From the second you reach out to me, I am invested in you. I care about people and love to serve. If you need outfit advice, don’t hesitate to ask! If you are worried about something that could disrupt your experience, please let me know. I’m here for you. If I can’t meet your needs, I’ll send you referrals to someone who can. I have known from the time I was tiny that I wanted to do something to help other people – so let me help you!

I don’t like taking meaningless pictures. I want these photos to matter to you and to tell your story when you look back in 20 years. I want them to be photos you can hang on your wall and feel emotion when you look at them. I try to find activities, prompts, and locations that matter to you.
I don’t love super posed shots. I really do NOT focus on things like getting a nice head tilt and brushing hair into the perfect position. Although I still do things to help you look your best, I focus on creating a fun environment where you can relax and we can capture pictures that tell your story, not just show your face. So, you can expect me to do a few classic posed shots (of course) but most of the time I will give you direction on more natural things you can do together – dancing, tickle fights, talking, etc. – that create for natural and beautiful photos. So, I try to be a happy medium – not too posed and not so ambiguous that you aren’t sure what to do; rather my goal is a nice mix of directing and posing you in more natural ways. I always talk to you right before your session to let you know what to expect and to make sure we capture all the shots you’re hoping for.

I like color and I love light! So you can expect your photos to have both. I also strive to have my editing portray the emotion behind each shot. For a better idea of what to expect with my editing, check out my work.

I want to share the fun time we had together, so I love to blog and share your story and experience on my website and on social media. If you would prefer that I don’t, please let me know.
Your pictures are included in my pricing. I do NOT charge extra for you to have digital access to your photos. I don’t send every picture I took because I return the photos that I feel best captured you and will not make you sift through hundreds and hundreds of photos – that’s my job! The digital copies of the photos I select are included with your session price and the type of session you book determines how many pictures you can expect back. For the sessions I offer, see here: couples or families. I share your photos via a Google Photos album currently. Sales tax is also charged on each session.

I want your session to be exactly what you are envisioning and hoping for, so never hesitate to contact me with questions and inquiries! I’m looking forward to working with you!
